Thankful Thursday Week #2

This week's topic: Family

Right now I am so grateful for the way my family has been patient with me as I have been navigating health recovery. They have had grace for me when I don't have grace for myself.
It's been a roller coaster year and in the midst of it my family has let me cry on their shoulders, lay on their couches, driven me to the doctor, made me food, looked at the meteor showers with me on the tramp, be a wimp at Crossfit and cheered me on as I've gained, helped me plant a garden, listened to me ramble, found me odd jobs, picked up supplements...and more. And that's just how they have blessed me. Let's look at how they live and bless others.
Mom puts her heart and soul into running the youth camp each summer. Dad faithfully works long hours to put food on the table and keep a roof over everyone's heads. He also loves to teach and makes an impact each time he has the opportunity. Michael shares his Crossfit knowledge. Christy is constantly inspiring me with her homeschooling and intentional childrearing. Julie is traveling the world sharing Jesus with people. Andy is always willing to fix a car or create something useful out of bits and pieces. Jesse gives thoughtful gifts, pays attention to what you say and likes to host functions. Add Mindy to that hospitality piece; she's also a very committed person so I know she blesses those she works with every day. Renae brings laughter and fun to people's lives and is always willing to host a friend for the night. Jamon does the dishes on occasion, is quick to share his opinions and is also quite crafty- he blessed mom with a new hand made cutting board this past Christmas. Emily would constantly live in a circle of friends-she'd also buy them all the gifts in the world if she could, she loves to give and loves to live.
I just stuck to my immediate family because if I went into in-laws and nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and grammas and grandpas and cousins and such I would be here all day. So, this is enough for now!

You have such a beautiful family! And so neat to acknowledge each of their strengths individually. You are truly blessed
