A splish splash of summer photos

Bike riding with my sisters before the weather got to warm. 

One visit to Gramma's house I discovered an old favorite mug hanging on the wall! Perhaps my love of particular mugs comes from my Gramma and her collection. 

My sister Julie has come to town twice.

And my littlest sister (and cousin Danya) graduated 8th grade.

of course, Father's day comes every year...

But this year was special- Dad and I went up to the mountains that evening!

My sweet friend Donna came to Oregon to speak and I met up with her for dinner. The only downside was crying on the way home missing everyone in Denver. 

4th of July I went hiking at Zig Zag lake with a couple of friends. The water was WARM. 

We said good bye to Chalandra at her shower-we miss her at work! 

Kathryn came all the way from Australia and then I was able to go to Ohio for Mike and Halle's wedding. Sarah joined us and it was a happy reunion! 

Mike and Halle were on my London team and it was such a special treat to be at their wedding. From start to finish it reflected the love and joy of Jesus. Their marriage is a testimony of the goodness of God and how worth it it is to wait for God's best. 

And that's just a taste...it's been a good summer, and certainly different than previous ones.
